Vibes Meaning: What Are Good Vibes And Bad Vibes?

Can positive vibes help you? Will negative vibes hurt you? Are vibes and intuition the same? Can you trust your vibes?

We've all felt it. This person or that person seems to "send" good or bad vibes. Well what exactly are "vibes"? Is it just intuition? Vibes meaning what?

In the first chapter of "The Law Of Success" called "The Master Mind" by Napoleon Hill he explains his theory. The title of the chapter pertains more specifically to the fact that all of the successful people he has studied have surrounded themselves with "like-minded individuals" with whom they have "good, or positive vibes". They also separate themselves from those who have "bad, or negative vibes". Most call it gut intuition.

Further study will show that many of our opinions of others via gut intuition are formed very quickly after introduction. We feel their "mojo", some would say. We immediately seem to know whether or not to trust someone, like or dislike them, and quite often after some short conversation will form an opinion of whether they are open minded or stubborn. These vibes are inherent for everyone. Some more powerful than others. With training you can trust your vibes.

How often have we felt sooner rather than later that someone is "fun to be around" or "a downer"? How about good company or bad? Very quickly, because of vibes meaning gut intuition we decide that a person is exciting to be around or boring. We may not "know" a person well but we very much know whether or not we would "look forwars to seeing them again".

Good vibes and bad vibes are constantly coming at us and moving out of us. The author theorizes that they are frequencies. We scientifically know about many frequencies but others are still unknown. With the knowledge from this book I think a person can develope positive vibes and reduce negative vibes. Also this book can help you understand your gut intuition meaning vibes. I won't go into any more of the details here, you can get the book. I highly recommend it.

What Is The Master Mind And How Vibes Contribute

It is said that two or more people can work "in harmony". It is not by chance that the word harmony is used. Harmony is mostly used with music or sounds. Music and sounds are frequencies. Vibes are frequencies meaning we can feel them.

Every successful leader understands that a group must share a "spirit of common understanding and co-operation" in the attainment of success. How he or she knows who can work together is usually through vibes meaning gut intuition.

Leaders gather groups together because "it works". The power created from two or more people is considerable. Ideas and plans come forth much quicker and more completely than one can do alone. The good vibes make it work. You can learn to trust your vibes.

Thomas Paine, the great American patriot and philosopher said" Who is there so unfortunate as not to have received positive evidence that thoughts and even complete ideas will "pop" into the mind from outside sources"?

Good Vibes Versus Bad Vibes Down The Road

It is also well known that people, especially married ones tend to "grow closer" or "grow apart" over the years. This may be an unavoidable consequence or it may not. The vibes a person puts out there are a result of their understanding of the mind and the treatment of it.

I believe that with the correct education and input a person can become someone who puts off "good vibes". In computer jargon this is"what goes in, comes out". Others will have gut intuition to like and trust them.

Giant Observation Wheel To Be Newest Of Washington DC Sights

Guest Post By Mark Duncan, freelance writer from Dunkirk, MD

Observation Wheel To Provide Wonderful Views Of Washington DC Sights

Scheduled to open in May, 2014 this 175 foot tall ferris (or observation) wheel is sure to attract a lot of attention as one of  the newest Washing DC sights. It will be a sight and attraction for many visitors to the Washington DC area.

Here is what was reported on on Janurary 17th:

"Maryland's National Harbor plans to add a new 175-foot Ferris wheel with views of the nation's capital and Potomac River, similar to the London Eye and other large-scale observation wheels around the world, developers announced Thursday.

The 17-story Capital Wheel will debut in May as a new attraction at the resort development in Prince George's County. It will be based at the end of a new pier overlooking the river with views of the Capitol, National Mall and Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, according to developer Peterson Companies.

The $15 million attraction will include 42 gondolas with sound systems, heating and air conditioning. Planners said it will operate year round, and they expect it will attract 600,000 to 800,000 visitors each year. The London Eye is one of Britain's most popular tourist attractions, averaging 10,000 visitors daily, the developers said.

The Capital Wheel will host public, corporate and private events, offering catering by Wolfgang Puck with seasonal fare at the base of the ride.

Ferris wheels are named for the engineer who built the first one for the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. The Capital Wheel is being built by Chance Rides of Wichita, Kan.

National Harbor has been steadily adding to its collection of attractions. It includes a massive Gaylord conference center, hotels, condominiums, the relocated National Children's Museum, new outlet stores, an ice rink and a carousel. Peterson also purchased and moved "The Awakening" sculpture from Washington's Hains Point to the site. More recently, MGM Resorts International won rights to build a $925 million casino resort there overlooking the river."

Hundreds of thousands come to Washington DC each year. They come to visit, vacation, and tour. There are many places to stay in the area - hotels, etc. If you are a camper I reccomend Duncan's Family Campground. It is close to DC and the closest campground to the new ferris/observation wheel.

What Is Empathy?

Empathy - "caring for other people and having a desire to help them; experiencing emotions that match another person's emotions; discerning what another person is thinking or feeling; and making less distinct the differences between the self and the other"

Can Empathy Help My Problems?

The quick answer is "Yes". At least it can help emotionally. Just watch the video above and see if your problems seem less severe. If this video stirred up emotion in you then you have empathy. Aristotle said: “To perceive is to suffer.”

“Compassion hurts. When you feel connected to everything, you also feel responsible for everything. And you cannot turn away. Your destiny is bound with the destinies of others. You must either learn to carry the Universe or be crushed by it. You must grow strong enough to love the world, yet empty enough to sit down at the same table with its worst horrors.”
― Andrew Boyd

Empathy is also rewarding - that is if you follow through with it. Acting on empathy can be difficult but rewarding.

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”
― Leo Buscaglia

Most of us go through life every day concerned with our own problems. I say that is selfish. Sometimes, helping others can help solve our own problems.

Life doesn't happen to you, it happens for you. How you perceive and handle it defines who you are.

I love this song "Nothing More" by The Alternate Routes

The video reminds me of our family growing up We had scads of those 8mm movies, So funny to watch.

I am inspired by the words. "We are how we treat each other and nothing more" is so true. In the end, how we have lived our lives is all we have.

Here are the lyrics:

To be humble, to be kind.
It is the giving of the peace in your mind.
To a stranger, To a friend
To give in such a way that has no end.

We are Love
We are One
We are how we treat each other when the day is done.
We are Peace
We are War
We are how we treat each other and Nothing More

To be bold, to be brave.
It is the thinking that the heart can still be saved
And the darkness can come quick
The Dangers in the Anger and the hanging on to it.

We are Love
We are One
We are how we treat each other when the day is done.
We are Peace
We are War
We are how we treat each other and Nothing More

Tell me what it is that you see
A world that’s filled with endless possibilities?
Heroes don’t look they used to, they look like you do.

We are Love
We are One
We are how we treat each other when the day is done.
We are Peace
We are War
We are how we treat each other and Nothing More

What Is Success And How To Understand It

There Are Three Ways To Understand "What Is Success"

1. Material: One can measure their success in physical comforts, financial gains, or other acquired assets.

2. Emotional: Many people find that if they are accomplished in finding many friends or a loving partner success is achieved.

3. Spiritual: A firmly developed belief and faith system in a greater power may be what some call success.

Success Can Be Different For All Of Us

Many consider themselves a success after accomplishment in only one of the three tenants mentioned above. Understanding what is success and achieving complete success involves all three.

Success for the truly enlightened individual comes from choosing and living the correct psth for them.

How To Understand What Is Success

To define "what is success" is profound, for universally, success is a result of a rewarding journey. Success is never achieved but partnered with.

We are but a compilation of our past choices, decisions, and actions. We are where we are because we are supposed to be there.

Another Few Thoughts To What Is Success

Here is something written by Davis Sharpe, co-founder of Empower Network that I think you will enjoy:

"Luck happens when you win the lotto. Accidents happen when you text while driving. Success has nothing to do with luck or accidents - nor does it have to do with being in right place at the right time, the status of the economy, or what you have when you decide to get started.

Success is about strategy. Preparation. Practice. Execution. Guts. Ignoring anything that isn't your dreams. Being immune to negativity.

Success is not attained alone. Only with a team, and small contributions from a lot of people along the way. It's attained through late nights and early mornings. Big risks and small steps. High highs and low lows.

Success is unreasonable. It's impatient. It's unwilling to settle for anything less than winning. The second you think you have it is the minute it slips away.

It's cunning... your best friend and your worst nightmare - sometimes within minutes of each other. It's something you'll suffer in great pain for and the minute you have it thank it for kicking your ass all the way to the top.

If you want it, prepare to lose a few friends. Prepare to thicken your skin up a notch. Prepare to be loved and hated. To be crucified and celebrated. Prepare for the ups and downs. Prepare to sacrifice some sh*t.

Don't fool yourself or listen to anyone who says "success just happens for the lucky ones". It's doesn't. It's the result of being unwilling to settle for anything less. Unwilling to settle for just being average. Unwilling to stop pursuing your dreams long after everyone has written your crazy ass off.

Success happens inside of you. It strategizes with your mind. It executes with your body. And it's fed and fueled by your emotional and spirtual passion.

Success is there, inside you - if you want it bad enough. Most people just leave right before the miracle happens.

So stick around. Stay and fight. And when you get knocked down, get back up. Success is the biggest opponent you'll ever face, the hardest that you'll ever train and the greatest fight you'll ever win."
